Yeah, we as a family can never give up an opportunity to go to a star-wars/geek event. So.....I finally got around to scrapping our awesome Star Wars day. YAYYYYYY!!!
All of the papers used in this layout (except for the type writer) are from the Crate Paper, "Maggie Holmes" stack. I loved the antique look of this stack so I got inspired and got to work.
I used a lot of fun elements, like these courigated clouds from Jilly Bean Soup. I used Tim Holtz distress ink on them and then popped them out with some foam dots. Also used some antique washi tape from 7 gypsies and some thickers, of course, and some phrases from Colorbok. Also, sequins and off brand adhesive pearls.
I had a lot of fun making this spread and the pages seemed to fall together. Once I was finished, I realized I do not have a scrap book for 2014. Guess I will have to take care of that this week!
May the force be with you, and happy crafting!

For this element I used a Tim Holtz stencil/mask and some white Tim Holtz distress ink/paint on black cardstock. Then I used vellum, cut it to size and crumpled it, then re-flattened it out and covered the stenciling. I had fun adding this element. Also, of course, veneers and sequins.
