More watercolor wonders

I am really having fun creating paper with my Dylusions sprays. A real blast, really.

I thought that one of my papers would be perfect for the Stampotique Designers Challenge this week, SDC248. The theme is, " All creatures great and small". Love this little bird guy from Stampotique so here I am, using him again. Instead of coloring him I stamped him onto one of my watercolor backgrounds. I am loving creating CAS cards. For YEARS I have been a layer-er...like...big time...but sometimes, all of that overthinking takes the fun out of creating, and creating is like breathing to me.

I also busted out my spellbinders circles and scallops. Been a LONG time since they have gotten proper use. Oh, and twine and washi tape, I mean...duh...

Love the punch this card packs. LOVE the little ink dots from the sprays and love the smooth transition where it swirrled together. I see LOTS more watercolor cards in my future. Can't wait to do a video for you all! Just gotta find my tripod. o.O

So, there you have it. Tons of fun packed into a CAS card. I kinda don't wanna send these cards out cause I love em. Been awhile since I felt that way too! Hope you are inspired! Happy weekend, all!

Watercolor Love

So, I got these awesome stamps from Ms. Kimm Creates . I love the snarky, quirky style. So fantasticly perfect for my taste haha. Anyway, I really wanted to create some CAS cards with them ASAP, so I got started right away.

I really love the watercolor look. I also LOVE Dylusions sprays from Ranger. I created a bunch of backgrounds with them on watercolor paper. Quick, easy and fun! Tutorial to follow at a later date, but basically I did this... I spritzed the colors onto my crafting mat and then spritzed them with water. Once I got the desired beading, I placed the watercolor paper into the color and poof. Pretty paper!
Here are the CAS cards I created. I love how they pack a punch without all of the difficult work and layering. Ms. Kimm's stamps are PERFECT for these cards! They really pop off the page! And, seriously...The sentiments! Heart them so much!

I am so thrilled with how these turned out. I will most likely be making more today. They will be great for gifts for teachers next school year for sure! What teacher, after spending the day with 20 children, doesn't need caffeine? Pop a gift card in these bad boys and Viola!

Thanks for stopping by~Happy weekend!! TGIF Ya'll!!
