So, really you guys, this was a tough challenge for me. I am not a huge fan of most shades of blue. I lean more toward teal and green. However, once the project got rolling, it wasn't as hard as I anticipated.<br />
<br />
I decided to create a gift box and use our new Flos stamp from our latest release. Oh, yes, we had a wonderful release this month! The toughest part of this challenge was not using black for the stamping, but I like how the flowers turned out.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I used various ink sprays to watercolor my blue flowers. I used Lindy's teal shaker to color texture paste and stenciled the top. I love how it turned out. I tried to create layers as well without creating too much bulk. </div>

So, I got this idea in my head and I had to create it. Honestly,it turned out even better in real life. Don't you love it when that happens?? I have had this old wannabe Altoid tin for pretty much forever and never really had any inspiration until I was on Pinterest. Man, don't you love Pinterest?<br />
<br />
So, this month we had a release over at Stampotique and this "Black-Eyed" girl was perfect for a spooky shadow box. And, of course, the sentiment was just right for her. And, since Halloween just just around the corner, what is one more decoration to have sitting around the house?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhJQg-BimwPT_-nnEV8Rf0qE8QMTioQEbASjkB5wCo6E7kMYrzNHqTX8KShqsiSKtzjRjGsPv65O0vBrPrskHG0mWadNtKpmUsxXyPTeHRSlVp0wKkQs6zeInkBg60jZABEQ6-pgpigWed/s1600/Pitch+Black+Tin.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1226" data-original-width="1600" height="245" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhJQg-BimwPT_-nnEV8Rf0qE8QMTioQEbASjkB5wCo6E7kMYrzNHqTX8KShqsiSKtzjRjGsPv65O0vBrPrskHG0mWadNtKpmUsxXyPTeHRSlVp0wKkQs6zeInkBg60jZABEQ6-pgpigWed/s320/Pitch+Black+Tin.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I recently have been loving creating paper beads and this project lent itself to more! I made them longer and used them as a base for my sentiment. The bewitching invitation is from Teresa Collins (see below). I used lots of washi tape and decorative papers to create a lot of layers and interest.<br />

Howdy! Back again with some more wise words and some fun mail art for Word Up Weekend over at Stampotique! I used this new stamp from our release yesterday, "Dog and Kittens". I think the recipient is going to like this image a lot. I used the sentiment from Quotes #1 because I found it amusing with the dog's expression with having the cats hanging all over him.<br />

I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to watercolor the envelope and the image both. A few splatters for some character. I love using messy splatters. </div>

Now THIS is my challenge! I <i>love</i> creating backgrounds. It is almost an addiction, so this was a fun challenge to work on. I have had this rainbow background paper for quite sometime waiting for just the right project, and this was it! I used it to create a rainbow pocket letter and I can't wait to surprise its recipient!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuP01Y5RJ5uczMtLUi4hdGqv7IqxdpI056tKjUUYXFN-MaPYlf5SX6eDpsY9mxeeDt8ZQUx-khrGaG29lNQ1LBbt44GHt5_KsBXryafMSSDP7ejiKS7KtoxN-GEEKxEEfJXrbNMBsp9E8r/s1600/Pocket+10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1215" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuP01Y5RJ5uczMtLUi4hdGqv7IqxdpI056tKjUUYXFN-MaPYlf5SX6eDpsY9mxeeDt8ZQUx-khrGaG29lNQ1LBbt44GHt5_KsBXryafMSSDP7ejiKS7KtoxN-GEEKxEEfJXrbNMBsp9E8r/s320/Pocket+10.jpg" width="243" /></a></div>
In addition to a new challenge, this month we had another AMAZING release and I fell in love with Whookie, so he took center stage for this pocket letter. I used more rainbow background papers to create his different looks. I also used one of our newest sentiments. I thought it was fitting.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJJrhOgCy9zpn9ZjArnjkxSMojxdaO2DhMscVL8XM5IHiCJ-YP7SOYwxnTKzFqQzmjcyc-pd7gxz6X5a7BV3E3Gk5_MPyIf-2HSPU9VQczlEiyFColj0qkPP6OxCG0Va7fJflq957MAj4G/s1600/Pocket+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1140" data-original-width="1600" height="228" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJJrhOgCy9zpn9ZjArnjkxSMojxdaO2DhMscVL8XM5IHiCJ-YP7SOYwxnTKzFqQzmjcyc-pd7gxz6X5a7BV3E3Gk5_MPyIf-2HSPU9VQczlEiyFColj0qkPP6OxCG0Va7fJflq957MAj4G/s320/Pocket+01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also played with our television stamp and some older sentiments. Check it out! Whookie is under cover with his mustashio! (a brad I was gifted)Isn't he handsome? And how adorable are his toes? Did you spot the <i>tiny</i> whookie? He is stamped all over the background of a few of the cards. </div>

Fall is just around the corner and for my household, that means my son is going on a 2 night, 3 day camping trip with his 5th grade class. I will most likely be the parent going with him as well....I really don't...<i>do</i> camping. Curly hair plus humidity and camping equals...Just no. Haha.<br />
<br />
However, it made my think of these sweet stamps from Stampotique and I thought, what better thing to do then to make a cute paper bead necklace with some shrink plastic charms??<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvfNSlRuSlQ9wNsGsVkdK696YgNfNbBaBykMWL0LFpOi0GKAh8CN0KkFmKf-Nlqugb4WkuxaWVmUP29o8b218_-Zf_GmzvMeg5BaNDv_nCPzmV17vRsFf03yoRnq7h2cX7hI7SW5F_Z5p6/s1600/Happy+Camper+Necklace.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvfNSlRuSlQ9wNsGsVkdK696YgNfNbBaBykMWL0LFpOi0GKAh8CN0KkFmKf-Nlqugb4WkuxaWVmUP29o8b218_-Zf_GmzvMeg5BaNDv_nCPzmV17vRsFf03yoRnq7h2cX7hI7SW5F_Z5p6/s320/Happy+Camper+Necklace.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
So, the beads were super easy, and even the charms were easy to make....but I have NO earthly idea how people deal with jump rings. I wanted to throw them across the room. Needless to say, I stopped with the necklace. Haha. No matching earrings just now. I do really love how it turned out when all is said and done, tho. Cheerful and sweet.<br />
<br />
So maybe, just maybe, this necklace will help me to be a "happy camper" when I am wrangling kidlets on a camping trip!<br />
<br />

Time for more wonderful words, brought to you by Stampotique! This week I just just a cute and simple greeting card. I even went a bit old school for me and used designer papers.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigEOEr-qyxl9I_i39ycDZz6q8abvEeRHkAQywY2_JY_ft08wV_iNhnA1NnqGlYlWlBdTLhh9FKgflKo1SjyGVzo2i8oH5V5wvCHV_PX6reaN3y7KQzbmncjIjEJWTPyiO-TN-oveEY-OX4/s1600/Last+Nerve.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1176" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigEOEr-qyxl9I_i39ycDZz6q8abvEeRHkAQywY2_JY_ft08wV_iNhnA1NnqGlYlWlBdTLhh9FKgflKo1SjyGVzo2i8oH5V5wvCHV_PX6reaN3y7KQzbmncjIjEJWTPyiO-TN-oveEY-OX4/s320/Last+Nerve.jpg" width="235" /></a></div>
I love the idea of a snarky greeting card and I thought this sentiment went perfectly with these adorable trees. I can imagine the more mature tree being irritated by the overly excited tiny tree.<br />
<br />
And, check it! I even got out my crop-o-dile and used eyelets! Long live the eyelet!<br />
<br />
I hope you are having a great weekend and that no one is getting on YOUR last nerve! Be sure to hop on over to our Facebook page and check out the other word up weekend offerings! An, of course, be sure to check out our shop each month for new and amazing sentiments and images!<br />

So, I am always haunting the clearance aisle, as a thrifty crafter, and this last week I found this amazing Heidi Swapp Instalove photo holder and it was so cheap that I just had to have it. I knew it was destined for Stampotique. My thought behind it was that it could be used to hold ATCs and display them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtVGJPPB6mdQKXhbwwDPguQNl1aWUr0TnKyQh6LBq4DaQBCkmgJxrLQA55rvNCH1zTqUKEiGNhIhnv1znefuvmu7Hskw786JFfQh7aIQE9irOTbQv1SA8fkPuQ6_xuNiSxR8-vUmbnESb1/s1600/Animals+Only+August+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtVGJPPB6mdQKXhbwwDPguQNl1aWUr0TnKyQh6LBq4DaQBCkmgJxrLQA55rvNCH1zTqUKEiGNhIhnv1znefuvmu7Hskw786JFfQh7aIQE9irOTbQv1SA8fkPuQ6_xuNiSxR8-vUmbnESb1/s320/Animals+Only+August+01.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
So, on to the challenge at hand. Use ANIMALS. Well.....I feel like unicorns are for <i>sure</i> animals.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitPlq3Hn57Q1EsdiDwZ-AqSm7yfRLrU_bhZy_-crt7iag0ZRkLQGY7hV-Ew4DuFxa8jBNlCpQ4AngDe0ASJhQ1ZstrZqGyPNQ8rAUWtKWnxIX1t5IT4d9iXieT_nhJDjV42JDwi5P1_pGP/s1600/804b0a81b54b26043d6b8677f58509e6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="297" data-original-width="500" height="190" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitPlq3Hn57Q1EsdiDwZ-AqSm7yfRLrU_bhZy_-crt7iag0ZRkLQGY7hV-Ew4DuFxa8jBNlCpQ4AngDe0ASJhQ1ZstrZqGyPNQ8rAUWtKWnxIX1t5IT4d9iXieT_nhJDjV42JDwi5P1_pGP/s320/804b0a81b54b26043d6b8677f58509e6.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Yes, ...my geek is showing. Ask me if I care....10 points if you can name this book. (yes, movie too)<br />
<br />
ANYhow. So I colored up our adorable unicorn with copic markers. I must get back into the habit of using copic markers. It is so fun to color and watch an image come to life. I also used one of our new hashtag sentiments. I stamped #artwork onto a gesso treated veneer. Some fun papers, washi tape and, of course, BLING...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheuLsohbBu7wWJGh7w4yzqaNyABpFtwYnQrvfwVnRd7vkKwDhnB6ATQLpJrgiIJubk-2nshLYkpSkWXDDbX8bVZsGyVhoJ376BnR_ej2xjqUxKwfr44Sg7tWx9ygC7MBM0Q_S14d4sL5n2/s1600/Animals++Only+August+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheuLsohbBu7wWJGh7w4yzqaNyABpFtwYnQrvfwVnRd7vkKwDhnB6ATQLpJrgiIJubk-2nshLYkpSkWXDDbX8bVZsGyVhoJ376BnR_ej2xjqUxKwfr44Sg7tWx9ygC7MBM0Q_S14d4sL5n2/s320/Animals++Only+August+3.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I even had some amazing GOLD glitter flaked paper that was perfect for the edging. My Tombow adhesive is amazing for stuff like this! Take note! It...is....AWESOME! Oh, and a sweet paper flower.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcO65PBgVR5NJc86qCQpS3hvjPJI8hxTM9KWw2iHxdAb0BUkiaEsIupq9RvqRfzajOgHyyKl-UIWsdpKz2r3AH2PpOf6APvmEbhmW8NpqiY5_JIXopQKQJGzc9J6w8CPXRP7heeGlE2yxh/s1600/Animals+Only+August+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1533" data-original-width="1600" height="306" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcO65PBgVR5NJc86qCQpS3hvjPJI8hxTM9KWw2iHxdAb0BUkiaEsIupq9RvqRfzajOgHyyKl-UIWsdpKz2r3AH2PpOf6APvmEbhmW8NpqiY5_JIXopQKQJGzc9J6w8CPXRP7heeGlE2yxh/s320/Animals+Only+August+4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>

So, as most of you know, we just had another release over at Stampotique. This week, for Word Up Weekend I used ""Wonky Town" to create a mail art envelope.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI8WUBGNJ3fjDZDcRp1PTpn4B1fQi1tGTduQSUO09dQ9VN3yh3BjNnpNa74s0FFr-QKd8jYAiCxUB10VA9iyDDrP_AMdxh2wEjTct-eIFDGzYZ_Mb1WkVS-P6YU1eAcnZhxVqFVAlNSk4W/s1600/Front+Door+Envelope.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="872" data-original-width="1600" height="174" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiI8WUBGNJ3fjDZDcRp1PTpn4B1fQi1tGTduQSUO09dQ9VN3yh3BjNnpNa74s0FFr-QKd8jYAiCxUB10VA9iyDDrP_AMdxh2wEjTct-eIFDGzYZ_Mb1WkVS-P6YU1eAcnZhxVqFVAlNSk4W/s320/Front+Door+Envelope.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I thought that this sentiment, "shut the front door" was doubly amusing when paired with the houses. I pieced the houses with various dylusions ink papers to create a more dimensional look. I also decided to use one of the houses for the shipping label. Same with the sentiment.<br />
<br />
I can't wait to send this off to its new owner, but they have to wait just a bit longer.<br />
<br />
I hope this inspires you! Be sure to hop over to our Facebook page to check out more word up weekend posts! And, of course, our shop is loaded with sentiments! Have a great weekend!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hello, hello! It is that time of week again....Word Up Weekend! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I bought some new inks...shocking, I know...but I really didn't have any distress inks and when I saw that ALL of Tim Holtz Distress Inks were 2 dollars off retail at Hobby Lobby, I had to have them. I will probably go get more. Hopefully this means that here in TN we will finally be getting the new Oxide Inks. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So, I used these 3 colors to create a fun splattered background and also stamped my sentiment AND my bird image onto what was left. Oh, and layered strips on top of vellum that I burned....with fire...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi38O30U6q5SDWk_c_W9hxcNfAg2RThsu2N9kY8Z5Rck_gM-nbCNw6tHHb_tJOe-cn0xarmCKnR6c-VTTTJQBSebLIJ_8Ide8u69NFpuZZ-UJFxpn0FFTWSXb0TLYtwFfK_xgu6EbSQglcF/s1600/WUW+Coffee+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1221" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi38O30U6q5SDWk_c_W9hxcNfAg2RThsu2N9kY8Z5Rck_gM-nbCNw6tHHb_tJOe-cn0xarmCKnR6c-VTTTJQBSebLIJ_8Ide8u69NFpuZZ-UJFxpn0FFTWSXb0TLYtwFfK_xgu6EbSQglcF/s320/WUW+Coffee+2.jpg" width="244" /></a></div>
That's right...fire...and vellum....it makes a really cool texture and scorch look. I doodled on the strips of paper with my paint pen, which....you know...was fun. I chose this sentiment and bird because, well, they go amazingly well together, but additionally, my son knows and says often, "No coffee, no works!" and, I thought it applied here. HAHA<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Or, as I like to call them, WASHI TAPE WONDERS! Seriously. I have half a dresser drawer of washi tape that doesn't get used nearly enough anymore. SOOO, I am in love with this challenge. Did you know we also had a new release this month over at Stampotique? This has to be one of my FAVE releases. So many wonderful pieces of art to play with!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
It is a bit more busy than anticipated but it is sooo sweet so how can you be upset, right? I used 4 different kinds of washi tape and then stamped our new hastag stamps over a stenciled background.This new little angel girl is also one of our latest release stamps. I colored her with soft colored pencils. Wanted it to be soft and sweet, just like the image. </div>

I really hope the recipient of this envelope is happy. It is to make her happy. I love having a few pen pals now. Pen pals are awesome! Annnnnd having a pen pal gives you a reason to create MAIL ART!!! See how that works together? ;)<br />
<br />
Please make sure to check out the other design team members for their wonderful creations and break out some Washi tape of your own!! We want to see how creative you can be! Happy taping!<br />

This month for the ATC swap over at Stampotique we tried to come up with something a little bit different. So, I asked my husband to give me ideas. He said, "What about fabric?" Still high off my banner for the blog hop I said, "Yes! That is perfect!" So back to my scrap fabric stash I went.<br />
<br />
I recently ordered a few new stamps from Stampotique and this puppy was needing to be on this ATC....and...given his position....I thought the, "pull my finger" stamp was just about perfect.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5TTj7mm1GkrjirMgTcUgPPS9ZgNBo_12YCdVQhtUwHT0qNk1OIXvIzU9sYKOoRhF508rkgjcvCcJKsqN0jyURgkqjuxKvWGLbgg-lsGJoAIIjKsI0FQqJq8P13bAVxUbl431swKy1Ukph/s1600/Fabric+Finger+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1286" data-original-width="1600" height="257" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5TTj7mm1GkrjirMgTcUgPPS9ZgNBo_12YCdVQhtUwHT0qNk1OIXvIzU9sYKOoRhF508rkgjcvCcJKsqN0jyURgkqjuxKvWGLbgg-lsGJoAIIjKsI0FQqJq8P13bAVxUbl431swKy1Ukph/s320/Fabric+Finger+01.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The only paper used on this ATC was for the back (stampted ATC back) and the dog and sentiment. The rest is fabric, interfacing, thread and twine. Oh, and a bit of acrylic paint and watercolor. I really hope that my partners enjoy these.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJj6hjhvRSsRZu9h15qcGKxlTQLIOnf6zeO8n1HJEiYQZS7zWzUGRqnkjcRvxFhp1cdhfN_DXfF4DzfVaoTmp4Sj030nJK0i89kVGoMsU-YVxeTTjJY40U5pECykm1dFsJHP44dlm5JZ84/s1600/Fabric+Finger+02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJj6hjhvRSsRZu9h15qcGKxlTQLIOnf6zeO8n1HJEiYQZS7zWzUGRqnkjcRvxFhp1cdhfN_DXfF4DzfVaoTmp4Sj030nJK0i89kVGoMsU-YVxeTTjJY40U5pECykm1dFsJHP44dlm5JZ84/s320/Fabric+Finger+02.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
Additionally, it is Word Up Weekend once again over at Stampotique so..."Pull My Finger"....::snicker:: These ATCs were a blast to make so maybe in the future I will create more. Fabric is just as fun as paper, and we ALL know how I feel about paper!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Omgosh, so July is huge for Stampotique so I wanted to make something a bit more special for our big month. Not only are we having a massive release, we have new DT members! It is So huge! Guys, I am so sad to see some of my team mates go, but thankful to get to stick around and excited to get to design with new talent. <3<br />
<br />
For my project, I chose to use one of our new images with a few of our older images. When I saw "Floating", I knew he had to be partnered with "Smile". Like brothers. SO sweet!! I also decided to try something I have never done before and make a mixed media banner with fabric scraps and paper. Oh, and a stick from my yard and some scrap lace.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This was SO fun to make and I really cannot wait to create another! It was so easy and so fun and kind of....I dunno, its just neat. I am thinking this may hang on our door for Valentine's Day next year! I think the sentiment goes well too and it is good for any time. I used my zig zag stitch to attach it to the banner. </div>

And srsly, look at these lil guys!!! How sweet are they together! It was like they were meant to be! And the wings on the heart is kind of awesome, if I do say so myself! I colored the images lightly with Copics, but just enough to make them come to life. I didn't want to over-do it.<br />

So this weekend my post is, hopefully, an inspiring card! We over at Stampotique just had a release and this beautiful tree-line was one of the new stamps. What I love about this stamp is that it could be used for literally any and all seasons, serious and not...very versatile. The sentiment is also from Stampotique from our May release.<br />
<br />
Can you see the snow? It is 3-D! I love my snow pen. Color where you want the snow or the puffiness to be and activate with your heating tool and poof! Snow! Or icing...or...whatever!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXBzhzbVDl8E77_2Pn8nvUp_bgtPiWc-PipaPcccDfOT6fO1jwN3vIuFbus3LWgmjXz41LrmeITUOHcq44kOsqmGq85RNWkXeI-y1u6e5HpTerx6mMMchUykPgC5OGgV6AZmp4s0CjbJT2/s1600/IMG_1884.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXBzhzbVDl8E77_2Pn8nvUp_bgtPiWc-PipaPcccDfOT6fO1jwN3vIuFbus3LWgmjXz41LrmeITUOHcq44kOsqmGq85RNWkXeI-y1u6e5HpTerx6mMMchUykPgC5OGgV6AZmp4s0CjbJT2/s320/IMG_1884.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
For my background I used Lindy's Stamp Gang products. We collaborated with them a few months ago and I loved their products so much that I ordered more. So I used sprays as watercolors and also used magical shakers and the sidewalk chalk white magical. SO excited with the way it all turned out!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrNBH3MQ0Rp6pprJiO1PrfTmIzjbwz5AXRkeDHOuWOJysPt6CWe-9vmhKr6-A59cw__p6Ef_KM20a6jHb3OT-er0Z4-lTcUTPr1gXqG1rsUjeakmoujXa37ZSDBO_29Pn94VYuC_mtksko/s1600/IMG_1880.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrNBH3MQ0Rp6pprJiO1PrfTmIzjbwz5AXRkeDHOuWOJysPt6CWe-9vmhKr6-A59cw__p6Ef_KM20a6jHb3OT-er0Z4-lTcUTPr1gXqG1rsUjeakmoujXa37ZSDBO_29Pn94VYuC_mtksko/s320/IMG_1880.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So yea, there you have it! Word up weekend and watercolors!! Makes a happy stamper! Be sure to pop over to Stampotique's Facbook page too to see more wonderful words and projects! Each weekend there is something new!</div>

This month Stampotique is collaborating with <a href="http://www.eileenhull.com/" target="_blank">Eileen Hull</a>. We were given some very wonderful die cuts to play with, not the least of which was this wonderful Passport Book cut. I admit, I was a bit perplexed at first as, I have never bound a book in my life. It was for certain a learning curve, but in the end I am pleased with the results.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxWArvPzlwoBI2YI5iLqj-bOqYYw1xZSRE6UIjXl1RDEJ063saXj00PkEqnpEZofCf_oBeTXv1_a3YcNdWCCSbZL8aymwsp74IxX4XHepHoSM7OYW34zOTRsoWUCPhC65mhI2PRmHWGSrC/s1600/IMG_2055.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxWArvPzlwoBI2YI5iLqj-bOqYYw1xZSRE6UIjXl1RDEJ063saXj00PkEqnpEZofCf_oBeTXv1_a3YcNdWCCSbZL8aymwsp74IxX4XHepHoSM7OYW34zOTRsoWUCPhC65mhI2PRmHWGSrC/s320/IMG_2055.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
I decided to create a recipe book/journal. I used one of our new release images from Daniel Torrente at Stampotique. Don't you just love this adorable stove?? It has myriad possibilities.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I used several stencils on this book and I love how each page turned out. The words were created using our Alphabet Background. I stamped the background and then cut each stamped letter out to create each word. I regret that my ink was running low, but I kind of like the distressed look.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1NwjaS9x7YtCAE4rhoun_ckHSdAC6VcJ-_6aLj1MGSt1sCmFODGgoHBS_pTTLiZWAW2S-OI9lVK0WqZpkFXVWUfZasmMUY5QiVznmHDjN30DBYCIh24OKc9csTLhN4RRbK0eRcGwFlA0r/s1600/IMG_2051.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1NwjaS9x7YtCAE4rhoun_ckHSdAC6VcJ-_6aLj1MGSt1sCmFODGgoHBS_pTTLiZWAW2S-OI9lVK0WqZpkFXVWUfZasmMUY5QiVznmHDjN30DBYCIh24OKc9csTLhN4RRbK0eRcGwFlA0r/s320/IMG_2051.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
For the first two pages I, of course, used stencils, also an envelope and more stamps. I used Tera Callihan's Cupcake Girl from Stampotique and more words from my alpha stamping. I love how the cupcake girl pops off of the stenciled background.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir9WLiquXWHFrMi6BR2a2GPUgTjhhjkwb_k1haD2oWbE4w2gpnMaILOpaQ8mMc2PeFT53Y-3eitDd9rSdcqDVsWc527QAPDYu55hm5kY9xIlPndlP845eSEEj9HBrAcsyATOcZT30uEIBY/s1600/IMG_2052.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir9WLiquXWHFrMi6BR2a2GPUgTjhhjkwb_k1haD2oWbE4w2gpnMaILOpaQ8mMc2PeFT53Y-3eitDd9rSdcqDVsWc527QAPDYu55hm5kY9xIlPndlP845eSEEj9HBrAcsyATOcZT30uEIBY/s320/IMG_2052.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
So for this page, of course, more stenciling as well as Stampotique's cupcake (from Terri Richardson). How much more perfect could a cupcake be for a food book? Especially one this scrumptious! See the tab here and the latch and label on the book? Those also came with the journal from Eileen.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBAGleqGOhFQiIxgqzbzM5PEmuxlgbB9N3HLet58-yNZK1tOgS9zqRNU_GfQGLpWAKmjF2CXD8i2_0EnUy30HowX6Eza87WiYHXlRfQt62qebCj5irmNs1Eol2Z3QqDZZ9kfGoxTHt-gj_/s1600/IMG_2053.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBAGleqGOhFQiIxgqzbzM5PEmuxlgbB9N3HLet58-yNZK1tOgS9zqRNU_GfQGLpWAKmjF2CXD8i2_0EnUy30HowX6Eza87WiYHXlRfQt62qebCj5irmNs1Eol2Z3QqDZZ9kfGoxTHt-gj_/s320/IMG_2053.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">I like how happy and cheerful the book is. .Would make me want to cook! And I am not that good of a cook, haha. Just ask my little boy! ;)</span></div>

I'm Baaa-aaaakkk!!! So this weekend I have another wonderfully snarky sentiment from Stampotique.<br />
<br />
For this card I went simple and classic. I wanted it to look serious and then...BAM...you read the sentiment. HA. If you can look close you can see I used vellum over watercolor.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZfr28_nlQcTK9LTNLnZ1Qgd7ewaGpfnXiRkY1j6f835xPLqIG_EtOih1fLWPflUS0ZdCYLd9TNqXjXR7ii0IdcrozC41wGeAO6zHsxCgoFlpFKcbIsC5G46tglMdSKR-pdpKIM2rdhqyp/s1600/Friggen+Special.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1346" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZfr28_nlQcTK9LTNLnZ1Qgd7ewaGpfnXiRkY1j6f835xPLqIG_EtOih1fLWPflUS0ZdCYLd9TNqXjXR7ii0IdcrozC41wGeAO6zHsxCgoFlpFKcbIsC5G46tglMdSKR-pdpKIM2rdhqyp/s320/Friggen+Special.jpg" width="269" /></a></div>
I even pulled out the eyelets for this one!! This card turned out so fun! And you can't help but laugh at the sentiment. Lick the windows. Haha. Silliness.<br />
<br />
Hope you have a great weekend, SUNSHINE!<br />

Hello!! Its that fun time again where you learn how many amazing Stampotique sentiments there are! This project also happens to double as a texture ATC project. I love that Stampotique has <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/296687334113317/?active_tab=about" target="_blank">ATC swaps every month. </a> Click the link and join! SO many talented artist participate each month! <3<br />
<br />
So for my texture I used texture paste with a stencil (colored the paste with Lindy's) and then I used green flocking on the feathers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEierQeHVzKtPM78vJCbKCuEH8H9CLArR1UpuOxa6B-esyh0x0_kp3kZBtIzDb1NGa3qc7LmVwdqymvFTG_cNZqPmdyat5hdNt0sURfIX6R61ifvnGGG8XGvzA6nFYzaRzvM5v3fIj6o40cE/s1600/Texture+ATC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1209" data-original-width="1600" height="241" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEierQeHVzKtPM78vJCbKCuEH8H9CLArR1UpuOxa6B-esyh0x0_kp3kZBtIzDb1NGa3qc7LmVwdqymvFTG_cNZqPmdyat5hdNt0sURfIX6R61ifvnGGG8XGvzA6nFYzaRzvM5v3fIj6o40cE/s320/Texture+ATC.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I used Kassa's feather stamps in conjunction with Dina Wakely's flying bird stencil. I water-colored the feathers and then added a touch of flocking to them. Looking at them now, they also could double as ferns. I liked the words from the "barcode" stamp set (stampotique). Not sure why, but the popped out at me.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSNz18HzTmAkX9bAfT-PKaAQH06gsjPHyCnV3YnVhlGDoRhS7DLryUQ-iTzI0CYIwkvUhIfYXtXruKuVPw1JDUmA8qTZTuxAXf4ofprNY7pTzUPtvnGM44mi2WpzvPUXIVBFMZhOEcj59u/s1600/texture+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1150" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSNz18HzTmAkX9bAfT-PKaAQH06gsjPHyCnV3YnVhlGDoRhS7DLryUQ-iTzI0CYIwkvUhIfYXtXruKuVPw1JDUmA8qTZTuxAXf4ofprNY7pTzUPtvnGM44mi2WpzvPUXIVBFMZhOEcj59u/s320/texture+01.jpg" width="230" /></a></div>
I tried to get a side view so you can see the texture. I tried to make the paste extra thick too. After not being overly inspired when I started, I really like the end result. I hope whomever I am partnered with likes them a well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I am back and it is not only Word Up Weekend but we just had another wonderful release at Stampotique! Loads of new, fabulous stamps to be had, but 2 of my favorites are these two feathers.<br />

I also used an older sentiment for my words this weekend. They belong with these feathers, wouldn't you say? I used ink sprays and gelatos for the background here and used gelatos to make the feathers and words pop a bit with just a sprinkling of bling. This card is all wrapped up in whimsy.<br />

So, awhile back I realized I had lost one of my most favorite Stampotique quotes and I was so bummed! When this challenge came up the first thing I lamented to myself that this sentiment would have been perfect. Thankfully, I was able to find it and I was so excited! It was the perfect sentiment for this beautiful tea cup from our latest release.<br />
<br />
I used a blank wooden piece and created this plaque hanger. It was such a joy to work with this sentiment and this new tea cup. I tried to use subtle colors and make it feel like a tea party. And of course, flowers and twine.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt7GBRUYXr11xfHNhbou_dbpo_2LZ73YzMuB3jKRttBCYJm7R4nO5bqedjlAFbCSI8t2X6AFedkS50s6g-dYf6Dlh5pkxTBiseMk_wjPsPl6H0FSBX69EEJQSDJPtLf5hSfwxCz04IFSQ2/s1600/Oldie+May+Challenge.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt7GBRUYXr11xfHNhbou_dbpo_2LZ73YzMuB3jKRttBCYJm7R4nO5bqedjlAFbCSI8t2X6AFedkS50s6g-dYf6Dlh5pkxTBiseMk_wjPsPl6H0FSBX69EEJQSDJPtLf5hSfwxCz04IFSQ2/s320/Oldie+May+Challenge.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I used gelatos to water color the tea cup and inks and a nail file to distress the edges of the papers and make it feel shabby chic.I really loved how it turned out and this may find its way to my mother for Mother's Day. ;)<br />
<br />
Be sure to check out our entire new release and stay tuned for next month's release as well! We hope you enjoy this challenge and, as always, you can see the rest of the design team's work on our Designer Challenge Blog, or on my sidebar here :)<br />

Word up weekend time once again and I am here with a more masculine card and colors way out of my comfort zone but in the end I sure loved it.<br />
<br />
I really love this image from Daniel Torrente (Cranium). I thought this sentiment went perfectly. For the background I used another image from Stampotique (Smile) and only stamped his head over and over to make it look like he had voices in is head as well as Bla Bla sentiment. All of these stamps are from Stampotique. I love how this card ended up coming together in the end.<br />

Its the weekend....and I need coffee...I imagine most of you do as well. This time around for Word Up Weekend I created a ATC using one of our new release sentiments. It is so perfect and I believe I will find myself using it a lot.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw-8_WLQewAeoKwkEFhrsKAxbt-wk6o30ALcF1lUiOmaQmQRBpQ-LQpQHYuHoCRGv9IyMLSCVhnv0k1SKSCXVbuCur_Qs5Z3h32B7uEvQFamUjsZmBNhS99k-KG2Uamqztn2JsZrHsC8oh/s1600/FullSizeRender+%252824%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhw-8_WLQewAeoKwkEFhrsKAxbt-wk6o30ALcF1lUiOmaQmQRBpQ-LQpQHYuHoCRGv9IyMLSCVhnv0k1SKSCXVbuCur_Qs5Z3h32B7uEvQFamUjsZmBNhS99k-KG2Uamqztn2JsZrHsC8oh/s320/FullSizeRender+%252824%2529.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
For the ATC itself, I used Yupo paper and alcohol inks. This side of the paper was originally my mess up but the more I looked at the design the more it grew on me. I also liked that they were colors outside of my normal theme. And guys, can you believe that I pulled out my VELLUM?!?! WOW!! I colored this lil guy with gelatos as well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU0068rNrm3nA9wBFyZb6On2wzkqKRQsrjMeYd4n-UeEDcLBA9QDYsiGREKfiRuMAFDHSKrkAyqnLXDd7W-EyoOoFEaLUXa24rdfnjrM-u3b3x2N27BI7Lmk9427KW0JmVJ6lcaT61d8JX/s1600/IMG_0932.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU0068rNrm3nA9wBFyZb6On2wzkqKRQsrjMeYd4n-UeEDcLBA9QDYsiGREKfiRuMAFDHSKrkAyqnLXDd7W-EyoOoFEaLUXa24rdfnjrM-u3b3x2N27BI7Lmk9427KW0JmVJ6lcaT61d8JX/s320/IMG_0932.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
Really enjoyed creating this card and can't wait to make more projects with this fun and quirky sentiment! Have a great weekend guys!!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Here we are again! Another great day to show off our awesome sentiments over at Stampotique!<br />
<br />
This week I am showcasing 2 new stamps from our latest release. A sentiment and an image. I used them to make 2 new ATCs.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg81xKpNSSAfRljTNli2ikldOVF4ISVId1ahrqrVfz3G-bf7cO3Zx4BhjTUqGoZ402DYVqvexPT8qZOpUomQDdYcpzbH1WNuIRgEnkAEoiWDvoIAdH5qkCQ4ibdeBh1mS0oIeydNm2Ph62d/s1600/Sparkle03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="214" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg81xKpNSSAfRljTNli2ikldOVF4ISVId1ahrqrVfz3G-bf7cO3Zx4BhjTUqGoZ402DYVqvexPT8qZOpUomQDdYcpzbH1WNuIRgEnkAEoiWDvoIAdH5qkCQ4ibdeBh1mS0oIeydNm2Ph62d/s320/Sparkle03.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
For the background I used Magic Shaker in Black Forest Black from Lindy's Stamp gang, who, Stampotique has partnered with recently. I LOVE all of the colors in that shaker! I can't wait to buy more!<br />
<br />
I colored Isabelle with Crayola colored pencils. The image reminded me of a little girl and how she may draw herself so I used simple coloring to add to that whimsy. I also left the background simple to let the image and sentiment be front and center. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik3xdoTzV66KKwm5TUwFSw9mqdxckgFD5174WVp-CqQjsVZeE18tecliHViYLVKkt-FDCcDgTOB_ntB-5iTRPoMZO8f6neUWZCI98zc1IFHWMl6J2xyab3HVPtLxUopOTMVAjucT-vsJN3/s1600/Sparkle01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEik3xdoTzV66KKwm5TUwFSw9mqdxckgFD5174WVp-CqQjsVZeE18tecliHViYLVKkt-FDCcDgTOB_ntB-5iTRPoMZO8f6neUWZCI98zc1IFHWMl6J2xyab3HVPtLxUopOTMVAjucT-vsJN3/s320/Sparkle01.jpg" width="249" /></a></div>
And, of course, the sentiment NEEDED sequins.Just sayin....Don't let anyone dull your sparkle.. ;) I hope these make you smile and, who knows?? One of these may find their way to you someday!<br />

Sometimes when I need to make something masculine I get a bit stumped. Not because I have no boys or men in my life, but...my son is a bit different than some boys. He loves Legos and action figures but can't stand most sports and would rather play My Little Pony than throw a football most of the time, which, I am entirely okay with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG6ijEV1edDMNkskOLYuuxGOJVVQ3c928b9xcj00YJhw-8jW7fgAkqR-c9LasGablaLWYn4wlCMR9hw2eIDkE18It6D-h2pr-wa6a91jYuVKKjdgzcZGk66nUaYHnzHuzW37zFbI6ngG_M/s1600/IMG_0944.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhG6ijEV1edDMNkskOLYuuxGOJVVQ3c928b9xcj00YJhw-8jW7fgAkqR-c9LasGablaLWYn4wlCMR9hw2eIDkE18It6D-h2pr-wa6a91jYuVKKjdgzcZGk66nUaYHnzHuzW37zFbI6ngG_M/s320/IMG_0944.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
THIS time, however, I was really inspired. My son received this gift card and holder for Christmas from his great aunt and I was immediately sure I had to make one. Like, HAD to. The rocket takes off! That's awesome!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS7MeE869opsQgpkAVdNq_-nhIab1kVcZ-FcogpzXR2dEmcV0Cpfy4Nf1AzbVtZSGj1B7LAR0NjGfHsJqMqZNWBVS6j-FUuqtZFLe6B6Hf80XQc_Xxof9dZkvRntnk2jW2cjVaho3qU4iT/s1600/IMG_0945.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS7MeE869opsQgpkAVdNq_-nhIab1kVcZ-FcogpzXR2dEmcV0Cpfy4Nf1AzbVtZSGj1B7LAR0NjGfHsJqMqZNWBVS6j-FUuqtZFLe6B6Hf80XQc_Xxof9dZkvRntnk2jW2cjVaho3qU4iT/s320/IMG_0945.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
So, much to my son's dismay, I messed it up to reverse engineer it. He will survive, I wager. ;)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimAvxOY5rRFs2PE6ziza56jNoHYfW7nogs7BAlGIgHkbeGpb5ziPa1B312VihZ7EwQ-3RtCwbkdIxJ3sLc9CKDZ9w8DyvV9s4ZWM90JjVS7mee4bTV5VeUvqG0a3Ef67OA71u9beNFaLGV/s1600/For+the+boys+02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimAvxOY5rRFs2PE6ziza56jNoHYfW7nogs7BAlGIgHkbeGpb5ziPa1B312VihZ7EwQ-3RtCwbkdIxJ3sLc9CKDZ9w8DyvV9s4ZWM90JjVS7mee4bTV5VeUvqG0a3Ef67OA71u9beNFaLGV/s320/For+the+boys+02.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Anyway, I broke out the designer paper and got to work. One I was able to get a working prototype everything was a breeze. I, of course, used Stampotique's ADORABLE rocket ship and I used my favorite Stampotique quote for the front. And see those planets behind the rocket? They are actually from one of our recent releases. It is actually a neat stamp with sweet circles with different patterns but I decided to re-purpose them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_Yq61G5jQC6l9fvbyqWdOFf5C8NVc9PXSIIPugMBjI5LMHsISpTmb9KiMFCvz_WV1es9a6ZExTWsjoWGiekVY2-KZqtDe45xuDZRppa9c7HgOtCsBgV262YnXH9TKtyUuqDLEuhQtfC85/s1600/For+the+boys+01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_Yq61G5jQC6l9fvbyqWdOFf5C8NVc9PXSIIPugMBjI5LMHsISpTmb9KiMFCvz_WV1es9a6ZExTWsjoWGiekVY2-KZqtDe45xuDZRppa9c7HgOtCsBgV262YnXH9TKtyUuqDLEuhQtfC85/s320/For+the+boys+01.jpg" width="194" /></a></div>
Now, to save it for an occasion. Maybe for my baby boy. ;) Or....I might keep it....cause I kinda love it. Hhaa. Anyone else have this problem when they craft? Be sure to participate in our challenge case then you have a chance to WIN stuff! So....DO It!<br />

So, this week my word up weekend post is a bit more serious. Sympathy cards are not something we like to think about having a need for, but it IS something that is needed. I am, however, still just outside the box enough to not use calm colors I WILL be creating something more calm but not this time.<br />
<br />
In the past when someone close to me passed away I really felt like the endless parade of bland cards, while sweet and thoughtful, were just as depressing as the thing I was going through. That is why I used bright colors for this card. While we know that someone you care about passing on is an incredibly sad thing, a bright spot in your day while grieving can mean the world.<br />
<br />
So, out came the copics. It took a few tries to get the look I was going for. Too long with no practice! I MUST put that on my list of things to do this year. COLOR with my COPICS more!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjx-Nl312rab8JEv9hAl6cCy-I6EkvFzp2E3KURjn4h8s0BZR2W1rnwHKypEUNkE7kQWBJsQIGWTGMfq9blJA2y_CGCQ33aE3m8BXOj4xZxKgB34KIsI5odFhIJNHWgBtArMiqYcNQhxyxO/s1600/FullSizeRender+%252823%2529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjx-Nl312rab8JEv9hAl6cCy-I6EkvFzp2E3KURjn4h8s0BZR2W1rnwHKypEUNkE7kQWBJsQIGWTGMfq9blJA2y_CGCQ33aE3m8BXOj4xZxKgB34KIsI5odFhIJNHWgBtArMiqYcNQhxyxO/s320/FullSizeRender+%252823%2529.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
In the end, I used one of my Dylusions backgrounds I really loved the purple with the yellow and how it set off the wing circle. Did I mention that this sentiment circle is from our latest May release? The wing AND the sentiment come together. 2 for 1? Yes!!<br />

I figured that the stamps needed to speak for themselves so I tried to keep the card simple over-all. I hope against hope that I will never need to use this card, but if the time does come when this card is needed, I hope that the person receiving it will enjoy the bright spot in their day.<br />

So, here I am again, time for Word Up Weekend and I find myself using an oldie but a goodie, once again. I really love this sentiment.<br />
<br />
This week I decided to create and art journal style page. This week my son was so enamored with outdoor things that I was inspired to create a whimsical page for him and no sentiment but this one would do.<br />

I created baby wipe flowers and made a huge mess with the multi media and it was a blast!<br />

I really tried to capture the essence of my boy blowing his dandelion puff but my printer wasn't having it so I used a marker to kind of draw your attention to what is going on in the photo. See the word "wish"? It was created using the background alpha stamp that came out this month. I stamped it out and cut out the letters from card-stock to create my own word. LOVE multi-use stamps!</div>

I plan to find a frame and hang this one. (Maybe after getting the photo printed somewhere else...) I love how it all came together! Have a wonderful weekend and be sure to check out our facebook page for more fun word up weekend projects!<br />

Oh, dear. I think we all know how I feel about bling. This challenge was for sure, for me. We recently had a new release and one of my favorite stamps was this cupcake girl. It made for the perfect birthday card!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I colored her with my copic markers. She is a dream to color and I love her little buck teeth. I used as many kinds of bling as would fit onto this card to make it bling-y.<br />
<br />
Be sure to check out the rest of the team (on the left-hand side of my blog) So much inspiration to be seen!! Thanks for stopping by!<br />
