Air Mail

So, I have seen a few adorable paper airplane stamps and since I am broker than broke at the moment, I made my own paper airplane rubber stamp. Why, yes, yes  I did. Why not? I got 2 stamps out of a 1 dollar gigantic eraser. Woot! I also made a few smaller ones from smaller erasers.

I made this card with this stamp for Card Makin Mamas. Their challenge this week was to pull out those rubber stamps and use them to make a card, so here it is!
I had a lot of fun with this stamp. I see many more "air mail" cards in my future!

Allons-y!

I am back with more ATCs today. I have decided to do a series of Doctor Who ATCs and then create a framed collage with them. Super excited!

I hand drew the glasses, and the hair on the 10 doctor ATC. I only wish I had a sharper xacto for the inside of the glasses. I also used some grunge board die-cuts from Tim Holtz. I got it at Tuesday Morning for 2.99 and I LOVE it!

Hope you aren't so totally tired of my using Doctor Who all of the time, haha.

Paper Trail

Good Friday (or Saturday for those of you down under) evening to you all! I decided to kick of the Holiday weekend right and get some paper craftiness goin. Little did I know, that my lack of mojo would make it take 4 hours to get 2 ATCs and one greeting card done. o.O

Still, it felt good to dabble again and get stuff done.

One of my crafty friends has started a neat ATC group where you can share your ATCs and swap em! Check em out, here! They are the "Fun ATC Swappers". I can't wait to really get started! In any regard, I did make 2 just to get back into the swing of it all.

Of course, what other theme could I think of?

These are both stamps that I hand made with 2 erasers and an xacto knife. They aren't the best stamps, but I love 'em. I am planning to make a series of Doctor Who ATCs. What I will do with them, I don't know quite yet, but I am excited and can't wait to start plotting them out.

I also wanted to color today, so I colored several images. Sadly, I am way out of practice and some of my markers are running out of ink. So, this was the only image that made it to a card...that being said, I am also out of card making practice so this one is lacking my usual oomph as well. ::sigh::

Looking forward to getting my Mojo back SOON. Also looking forward to sleeping in in the morning. Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all of us here in the US of A!

Smash*ing Summer!

Believe it or not, I have been crafting quite a bit. I just have had no time to sit and post, blog, or even really to take pictures in ages. Volunteering at my son's school, and keeping up with his schedule had taken up almost all of my time. Now, we are on day two of our official summer break, and I am trying just as hard to keep him busy. So far, we have bowled, skate boarded, picked strawberries and Noah has managed to squeeze legos into each day as well. (surprised, I am sure...) we are hoping to roller skate this week or next and I am looking into swim lessons for my little "sink like a rock" boy. He also spent the two previous days with Gammie and Grandpa kicking up his heels at the creek and at Circus World. BUSY boy!

For the last day of school, I found these adorable little class gifts all over pinterest so I had to make em and pass them out. We made ours yesterday. Forgot how much SUGAR goes into Kool Aid!!

Yesterday morning, I finally caught up with my 365 Smash*book so I thought I would share that here.

I have done other things, but I will save those for another day. I hope this post at least makes you smile and gives you a peek into the daily life of my family. Stay crafty!
